Expanding Care with DSLT
We are pleased to offer Voyager™ Direct Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (DSLT), an advanced non-contact laser treatment for patients with open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension.
Like Selective Laser Trabeculoplasty (SLT), DSLT improves the eye’s natural fluid outflow by targeting the trabecular meshwork. What makes DSLT unique is its automated, non-contact design, which delivers laser energy through the surface of the eye without the need for a lens. Many patients find DSLT to be fast, efficient, and more comfortable than traditional SLT.

What to Expect During the Procedure
During DSLT, numbing drops are applied and you remain comfortably seated as the laser system automatically aligns and delivers gentle pulses around the edge of the cornea. These pulses reach the trabecular meshwork to help improve fluid drainage and lower pressure.
The treatment takes only seconds and is generally very well tolerated. You may notice mild blurring for a short period afterward, and follow-up appointments will be scheduled to monitor your response.
Who Might Benefit from DSLT
Patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension may be excellent candidates for DSLT, especially those looking to reduce their dependency on daily drops.
