Dr. Joel Hersch, optometrist, talks about... "the LASIK procedure"

"As an optometrist I value my own vision and the vision of all my patients. After observing Dr. Katzen perform the LASIK procedure and seeing the great results my patients experienced, I decided to have it done on myself. I was amazed at how easy it was, how there was no pain during the procedure and how I could even start to see as soon as they moved the laser away from me.

Visual recovery was pretty rapid. The very next day I was driving on the interstate by myself without glasses and was back to work two days after I had the procedure.

I'm pretty active in sports. I play a lot of tennis, swim, and jog. Now I have a lot more freedom to do what I like to do.

Now that I have had the LASIK procedure myself, I recommend it to all my patients. The results have been so good for me and it was such an easy procedure to go through, that it would be remiss for me not to tell my patients that they can have this done.
